El Chato x Xiquet

On December 12th, we had a very special collaboration with Chef Álvaro Clavijo of El Chato. Ranked #25 in Worlds Fifty Best and #2 in Latin 50 best, El Chato is a contemporary Colombian bistro in Bogotá, redefining local flavors.

We want to thank both teams for putting on an excellent service for both of our sold out seatings! It was a pleasure to have so many creative chefs in one kitchen, and to be able to merge our two tasting menu’s to create a wonderful evening.

Xiquet x Sereia

Worlds collided for an extraordinary culinary adventure as Xiquet's award-winning Chef Danny Lledó and Sereia's celebrated Chef Miguel Massens came together in Miami for a one-of-a-kind collaboration. Guests were treated to a meticulously crafted 7-course menu that drew inspiration from the rich traditions, flavors, and vibrant culture of Spain and Portugal. This unforgettable experience celebrated the essence of Iberian cuisine, blending innovation and authenticity to create a feast for the senses.

Xiquet and La Niña

Renowned Chef Danny Lledó, celebrated for his masterful interpretations of Valencian cuisine, brought his expertise to La Niña for an extraordinary evening of culinary collaboration.

The exclusive event showcased a harmonious fusion of Chef Lledó’s Valencian heritage and the bold, vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine, as interpreted by the talented Andrés Orellana. Together, they crafted a one-of-a-kind gastronomic experience that delighted all in attendance.

This special dinner exemplified the power of cuisine to bridge cultures and create unforgettable moments through shared passion and artistry.

On March 1st and 2nd, 2024, it was our pleasure to host a collaboration dinner with Metzi from São Paulo, Brazil, a 50 Best Restaurant. The dishes revolved around classics such as tacos, tostadas and guacamole elevated through additions such as fish roe and endemic Brazilian herbs arranged with tweezers until each dish looked like a piece of sculpture. We are so pleased Eduardo Nava Ortiz was able to spend a few days at our restaurant to create such magnificent dishes for our guests.

On Feb 24th and 25th, 2024, Xiquet headed to Miami to cook along side El Cielo and Zeru. El Cielo offers modern signature cuisine, with the same creative and innovative style of chef Juan Manuel Barrientos, inspired by Colombian ancestral roots, but using avant-garde cooking techniques and neuroscience to surprise diners. Zeru centers their cuisine on the Basque and Mediterranean, all of which is curated by Chef Israel Aretxiga who respectfully fuses Iberian flavors with Mexican products. Chef Danny and Andres of Xiquet, and the teams of Zeru and El Cielo created the ambiance, while the guests enjoyed every minute!

On Feb 19th, 2024, Chef Danny traveled to Inn at Little Washington for their Starry, Starry Nights’. This program, presented by Chef Patrick O’Connell features Michelin-starred chefs of Washington D.C and beyond.  Each evening celebrates a Michelin-starred chef and includes a cocktail reception, followed by dinner at Patty O’s Café featuring the favorite dishes from their restaurant’s ‘family meal’. This was a rare opportunity to see a glimpse behind the scenes of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Xiquet X St Regis Bahia

On Feb 8th, 9th, and 10th 2024, Xiquet and the St Regis Bahia Beach Resort created an unforgettable dinner series. The first night event was the more casual beachside dinner, featuring local seafood and vegetables grown on the resort. Cocktails were passed around as guests were treated to performances of Bomba y Plena — traditional music and dances of Puerto Rico. The second evening featured the more formal five-course ‘Midnight Supper’ tasting menu paired with Spanish and Portuguese wines. Chef Lledó began the night by sabering a bottle of Champagne, a St. Regis tradition, then guests enjoyed dishes which included Iberian Pork Shoulder with Pepper Jus and Potato Soufflé Chips and Braised Rabbit with Chanterelle and Porcini mushrooms.

Sept 8-9th, 2023, Chef Danny was invited by Chef Julian Serrano to collaborate on a world-class culinary experience at Bellagio’s famed Picasso restaurant. The award-winning duo of chefs greeted guests throughout the evening in Picasso’s stunning dining room and outdoor patio, situated lakeside with picturesque views of Bellagio’s iconic Fountains.

On Oct 26th and 27th, 2023, Xiquet hosted an exciting collaboration between two Michelin Star chefs! Xiquet’s Chef Danny Lledó welcomed the talented Chef João Oliveira from Vista Restaurant in Algarve, Portugal for two amazing collaborative dinner events showing their respective food cultures at their finest, focusing on the bounty of the sea.

Michelin Weekend at St. Regis Bahia Beach, PR

The weekend of Oct 6th and 7th, 2023, Chef Danny Lledó travelled to Puerto Rico to host a “Michelin Weekend” takeover of the St. Regis Bahia Beach. The events kicked off with a seaside barbeque featuring produce and seafood from the property itself. The next night, Chef Danny presented a multi-course tasting menu experience for guests to enjoy, complete with carefully curated wine pairings.

Michelin Dinner Series at Euphoria Greenville

On Sept 15th, 2022, Chef Danny Lledó was delighted to collaborate with Chef Shawn Kelly of Greenville’s Fork & Plough restaurant as part of Michelin’s Euphoria Greenville dinner series. The two chefs served an unforgettable menu tying together the best of Southern cuisine and dishes inspired by Valencian gastronomy.

Winemaker Dinner with Bodegas Tierra

On Nov 9th, 2022, it was our pleasure to host a winemaker dinner with Chef Danny’s long-time friends and colleagues Carlos Fernandez of Bodegas Tierra and Fransisco Astudillo of SAWM Imports. The dinner featured extraordinary wines from this renowned Rioja winery paired with 22 compositions of modern Spanish cuisine. We are so pleased these two gentlemen were able to spend a few hours with our guests, sharing their wines and wisdom.

Sushi Nakazawa Collaboration at Xiquet

On, Aug 24th, 2022, Chef Danny Lledó of Xiquet was delighted to host renowned Chef Masaaki Uchino of Sushi Nakazawa DC for a collaborative dinner that will showcased two cornerstones of the chef’s respective culinary traditions: seafood and rice. The evening’s tasting menu, paired with carefully chosen wine and sake, highlighted each chef's modern perspective on their traditional food culture.

On Aug 5th and 6th, 2022, Chef Danny Lledó was invited to collaborate with Chef Dameon Evers on a four-hands dinner at Le Cirque at The Bellagio in Las Vegas. The seven-course menu showcased the modern Spanish cuisine for which Chef Danny has earned a Michelin Star at Xiquet alongside the contemporary French style that has earned Chef Dameon’s Le Cirque 5 Stars from Forbes.

CHEFS FOR UKRAINE
Benefit Dinner

On March 21st, 2022, Chefs from across the region came together at Moon Rabbit to create a 10-course tasting menu experience to raise funds for World Central Kitchen’s relief efforts in Ukraine. Created and organized by the group Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate, the event sold out within hours of going live, thanks to the generosity and support of our incredible community of guests. Chef Danny was honored to participate alongside Aaron Silverman, Brittanny Anderson, Drew Hairston, Erik Bruner Yang, Greg Baumgartner, Jon Sybert, Kevin Tien, Ryan Ratino, Tim Ma, Yuan Tang.

Winemaker Dinner with Bodegas Valtravieso

On June 15th, 2022, the Xiquet team was proud to host a once-in-a-lifetime pairing of Chef Danny Lledó's cuisine alongside the incredible wines of Spain’s celebrated Bodegas Valtravieso, presented by the winery's owner, Pablo Gonzales. The evening provided a tour through several of Spain's most notable wine regions alongside 22 compositions of modern Spanish cuisine.

MICHELIN x CAPITALONE DESTINATION DINNERS

On Dec 2nd and 3rd, 2021, Michelin and Capital One hosted their Destination: Europe event at nearby Bresca, featuring dishes that transported diners to Spain, France, and Italy created by Chef Danny Lledó of Xiquet, Chef Ryan Ratino of Bresca and Jônt, and Chef Suzette Gresham of San Francisco’s Acquerello. It was a delight to collaborate with these incredibly talented and creative chefs to create a unique experience for guests!
